**Job Description**:
SGS is looking for Test Officer to assist the Test Engineer in the examination, test and calibration of road safety enforcement technology equipment and other traffic systems to determine the performance and condition of such equipment.

Some of the responsibilities in this role are:

- Prepare and maintain the tools necessary for the examination and testing of road safety enforcement technology equipment and other traffic systems.
- Assist the Project Manager Traffic Systems in any such manner with regard to the Traffic Systems division.
- Ensure Traffic Management is implemented to meet all HSE guidelines.
- Assist in the test of road safety enforcement technology and other traffic systems equipment in accordance with documented procedures to determine compliance with standards or client's requirements.
- Record details of tests, results, assessments and observations in order to have a permanent record for report compliance and reference.
- Prepare a written report of results, assessments and observations obtained from testing for preparation of test reports in an agreed format.
- Maintain an accurate record of the time spent testing road safety enforcement technology equipment for the inclusion in the laboratory's monthly report and for determining the testing schedule of fees.
- Be directly accountable for the test equipment being used and for the implementation of Traffic Management.

**Qualifications**:

- Certificate in Electronics or progressing towards one or an equivalent qualification and experience
- An understanding of Traffic Management and road side HSE
- Understanding of measurement and testing techniques relating to road safety enforcement technology and test equipment used
- A current Australian Driver's License with an excellent driving record
- Above average computer literacy, combined with excellent written and oral communication
