- Excellent communication skills
- Prior experience as a medical receptionist (preferable)
- Good computer skills
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a very busy working environment
- Must be well presented at all times
- Punctuality and reliability essential
- Previous experience with Pracsoft (preferable)
- Knowledge of Medicare and private medical billing (preferable)
- Friendly approachable manner
- Interested in learning and taking on new responsibilities and assisting in practice growth
- Minimum one-year medical receptionist experience (preferable)
- **The roles and responsibilities include, but not limited to**:
1) Meet and greet all patients and medical representatives with exceptional customer service skills Assist patients to complete all necessary forms and documents
2) Answer incoming calls and deal with inquiries
3) Attend to patient billing using the procedure/practice and software at the practice
4) Collect payments and/or process Medicare, DVA, Work-cover and other receipts
5) Undertake other reasonable duties and tasks directed by the practice manager.
6) Management of the waiting room including patient flow and tidiness.
7) General tidying and cleaning duties

8) Ordering medical and office supplies

In-house training will be provided to the successful applicant.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Casual

**Salary**: $22.67 - $28.37 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- On call
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates

COVID-19 considerations:
All staff and patients are required to wear masks, privacy screens are in place at the front counters, patients are screened for covid symptoms and are not allowed inside the waiting room.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Castle Hill NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Certificate I - IV (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Administration: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Medical receptionist: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (preferred)
