**Location: Sydney CBD (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)**

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic finance team as a Junior Finance Officer on a 1-month contract. **Position Overview**:
As a Junior Finance Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of one of Australia's largest healthcare providers. You will primarily focus on helping the accounts payable function by efficiently processing a backlog of invoices. This is a hands-on role that involves a manual review and processing of 50-80 invoices per day.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Accounts Payable Support**: Process a high volume of invoices (50-80 per day) accurately and efficiently to help clear the backlog.
- **Invoice Review**: Manually review invoices, ensuring they are complete, accurate, and comply with company policies and procedures.
- **Data Entry**: Enter invoice details into the financial system with a high degree of accuracy.
- **Vendor Communication**: Liaise with vendors or internal stakeholders to resolve invoice discrepancies or issues.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all processed invoices.
- **Financial Reporting**: Assist in preparing reports related to accounts payable activities.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the finance team to ensure smooth financial operations.
- **Compliance**: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Previous accounts payable experience or internship is a plus.

**Compensation**:

- Salary: $70,000 per annumm (Day rate equivalent)
