Due to ongoing growth, we have a vacancy for a Mechanical Designer to join our team in Artarmon, NSW.
- The key responsibilities of this role will include: (but not limited to)_
- Prepare 3D models, 3D assemblies, detailed drawings & BOMs for manufacture of work-holding devices, fixturing, tooling & lifting devices.
- Prepare 3D models of machines & setups to support CNC programming.
- Liaise with & support manufacturers in manufacturing your designs.
- Prioritize your work in line with changing production demands.
- Provision of technical engineering support to Machine Shop.
- To be successful in this role you will have:_
- Diploma or equivalent qualifications and/or experience in Mechanical Design.
- At least 2-3 years experience of machining & other manufacturing processes.
- Experience in Siemens NX (Unigraphics) & Teamcenter.
- Good knowledge of ISO drafting standards.
- Practitioner of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) methodology.
- Microsoft Office knowledge (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
