Design, develop, and maintain data streaming applications using Confluent Kafka or Apache Kafka.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.
Monitor and optimize Kafka clusters for performance, reliability, and scalability.
Implement best practices for data ingestion, processing, and storage.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kafka and associated technologies.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to data streaming and messaging systems.
Mandatory Skills:
Strong experience with Confluent Kafka or Apache Kafka.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Scala, or Python.
Experience with data serialization formats like Avro or Protobuf.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with stream processing frameworks such as Apache Flink or Apache Spark Streaming.
Knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5 to 7 years of relevant experience in software development and data engineering.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
