About the business unitThe Office of the Chief Executive Officer (OCEO) is a key coordinating and direction setting function within TIQ, established to drive and organise delivery of key aspects of the CEO's organisational and broader responsibilities, oversight and mitigate key risks, and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including the Treasurer and Minister for Trade and Investment, TIQ Board, Federal and QLD State Governments, and more broadly across the public and private sectors in Australia and internationally.Your contribution (key responsibilities and accountabilities)To be successful in this role you will:
- Coordinate information flows between the Treasurer's Office and TIQ to ensure that matters are dealt with expeditiously and within tight timeframes.
- Coordinate workflow systems and processes to ensure deadlines are clearly identified and met.
- Assist in the effective and efficient resolution of enquiries and complaints made to the Minister's Office, including identification of trends and emerging issues.
- Develop and maintain an effective network of officers who may be called upon to compile urgent responses for the Treasurer and/or Minister's Office.
- Develop and maintain collaborative and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, approaching engagement and communication from a perspective of enriching these relationships.
- Develop procedures and solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Executive Services, including reviewing and implementing improvements to briefings and correspondence processes.
- Ensure material submitted is consistent with Government policy, relevant legislation, procedures and standards.
- Undertake special projects, research or analytical tasks (using an appropriate project management methodology) of a complex, sensitive or contentious nature as directed by the Director, Executive Services, ensuring completion within deadlines and achieving required outcomes.
- Represent TIQ at internal and external forums relating to executive and ministerial services.
- Support administrative processes to meet ministerial needs as required.
