We are offering an opportunity for the right Support Worker to work with our participants in Greater Western Sydney and Inner West.

You must identify as an Aboriginal person with demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the diverse cultural dynamics that exist within Aboriginal families and communities, as well as the historical impacts on Aboriginal people.

Aboriginality is a genuine qualification authorised under Section 14(d) of the Anti-Discrimination ACT 1977

You will have a genuine care and interest for people with disability and must be reliable.

Experience working with challenging behaviours and mental health is desirable.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Support with everyday living
- Support to access the community
- Build the capacity of our participants
- Track and document an individual's progress through detailed note keeping

**Skills & Experience**
- The ability to work effectively with Aboriginal people and communities
- Experience working with people living with mental illness desirable
- Experience working with challenging behaviours desirable
- A genuine care and interest in supporting people with disability
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships
- Current Australian Drivers Licence or ability to get to location
