Senior Full Stack AWS Software EngineerLocation: Sydney (Hybrid / Remote options available)Contract: 12 months (with potential to extend)My client is seeking an experienced Frontend Software Engineer to design, build, and deliver high-quality software across our internal and customer-facing applications.
You'll play a key role in building products that support both internal operations and customer-facing platforms, leveraging the latest front-end technologies and AWS cloud services.
This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise, a passion for clean, secure code, and the ability to collaborate across agile teams.What you'll be doing: Delivering solutions: Design, develop, and maintain scalable front-end applications with a focus on performance and usability.
Technical ownership: Uphold coding best practices, security standards, and ensure code quality.
API development & integration: Build and maintain APIs to connect applications and platforms.
Team collaboration: Work closely with solution leads and cross-functional squads to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Agile & DevOps: Embrace agile methodologies, CI/CD, and DevOps practices to drive continuous improvement.
Key criteria, 3–6 years' experience as a software engineer.
Strong background in front-end technologies (ReactJS, Node.js, Typescript, Remix or similar frameworks like Express.js/Next.js).
Experience with API development and integration.
Exposure to AWS serverless cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Lambda).
Familiarity with DevOps tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Snyk, Kong or similar).
Experience with monitoring/performance tools (New Relic, AWS X-Ray, etc.).
Relevant qualifications and certifications (preferred).
