Job Details:
Reporting to the Asset and Configurations Manager this role will support the Asset Management, Warehouse, Workshop and Field Services teams to update and maintain the accuracy of the CMDB Database through the lifecycle of all Cubic Inventory.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

- Establish and assist in the design and implementation of the relationship mapping for all configuration items within the CMDB.
- Work with relevant stakeholders to update and maintain the software/hardware configuration items using automated tools and manual processes including developing databases.
- Analyse data with statistical techniques in aid of decision making.
- Update CMDB with new configuration items as per commissioning documentation
- Maintain databases for commissioning, decommissioning and non-conforming assets.
- Complete change and incident requests assigned to Asset and Configuration.
- Produce and investigate reports for monthly reporting and financial deliverables.
- Track, update and monitor lifecycle of assets, inventory and consumables within the CMDB.
- Participate in assessment of quality compliance and Audits.
- Monitor processes and implement change to meet business requirements.
- Assist with Inventory cycle counts and raising purchase orders.
- Actively contribute to the continual improvement of the configuration management process.
- Assist with redeveloping Service Now to become an accurate configuration and asset management reporting tool.
- Demonstrate initiative and ownership for assigned tasks.
- Work collaboratively and support all team initiatives.
- Adapt quickly to change, providing appropriate levels of support to team members.
- Be flexible to meet operational requirements as necessary.

Minimum Job Requirements:
Tertiary Education in relevant Business /IT Discipline (required)

Skills/Experience/Knowledge
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working in Services Asset and Configurations.
- Analysing data using statistical techniques and providing reports.
- Identifying, analysing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Attention to detail and with high data integrity
- Knowledge of inventory management, asset management lifecycle, concepts and procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Service Now Asset portfolio and SAP required.
- Advance Microsoft Excel skills is a must to develop reports and produce data stories.
- Experience in Audits and ISO IEC within Service Management Systems
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and achieve tight targets
- Ability to work autonomously and unsupervised
- Exemplary written, oral communication and organization skills

Required
- Knowledge of Service Now Assets, SAP and Inventory Management
- ISO IEC 20000 Foundation (desirable) or Practitioner (preferable)

Desirable
- ITIL V3 Foundations Qualified

- Excellent written & verbal communication skills and the confidence to liaise across multiple levels of the organization
- High level attention to detail.
- Demonstrated focus on delivering optimal service / results to customers
- Demonstrated positive work ethic and ability to assume pro-active responsibility for all facets of the role.
- Demonstrated ability to work without direct supervision
- Demonstrated prioritization, clear communication and multi-tasking skills
- Must be able to work under project deadlines pressures, and associated schedule constraints
