**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Our client is searching for a driven and target orientated Operations Manager to lead and manage the daily operations, focussing on the delivery of elite customer service that underpins its ongoing success.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensure all site staff, visitors and contractors comply with all occupational health and safety policies, procedures and operating instructions;
- Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures and regulations relating to WHS, Security, Quality ISO standards, Global Incidents and facility standards;
- Ensure compliance to all operating procedures and site checklists;
- Identify areas to improve operational efficiency & effectiveness and recommend action plans to State Manager;
- Ensure all staff are fully conversant with Service Level Agreements (SLA'S) for National and local clients and ensure that SLAs are adhered to;
- Drive the effective utilisation of storage capacity tools to ensure optimised space density.

**SKILLS & EXPERTISE**
- Robust team leadership skills as well as experience working within a process based environment (E.g. transport);
- To be First Aid, WHS and Fire Warden trained is essential, with a Certificate IV in warehousing highly desirable;
- Are able to build and develop successful long terms relationships with clients, direct reports, other teams and departments;
- Have a high attention to detail with the ability to improve processes;
- Have strong people management skills and be able to work within a multi-cultural environment and with all levels of organisation;
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and experience with exceptional communication skills.
