**Description**:
The Materials Coordinator is responsible for the planning, procurement, receipt, storage, issuance, and tracking of materials, tools, and equipment used in gas gathering operations. This position ensures materials are available in a timely manner to support pipeline construction, maintenance, and operational activities while maintaining inventory accuracy and compliance with safety and environmental standards.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate the ordering, receiving, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment to support gas gathering projects and operations.
- Work with operations, engineering, and procurement teams to forecast material needs and manage material availability.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in inventory management systems
- Manage warehouse operations and ensure compliance with company safety and environmental policies.
- Conduct periodic cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to field locations and contractors.
- Track material usage against job orders, projects, or work orders.
- Coordinate logistics for material transfers between field sites or contractors.
- Support the return of unused or surplus materials.
- Assist in vendor communication, expediting, and resolving issues with deliveries or material quality.
- Prepare and submit documentation for audits, compliance, and reporting requirements.

**Skills and Experiences**:
Qualifications & experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in materials coordination, inventory control, or warehouse operations.
- Experience in the oil & gas industry, specifically gas gathering or pipeline operations, highly preferred.
- Knowledge of materials used in gas gathering (e.g. pipe, valves, fittings, instrumentation).
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Forklift certification and experience preferred.
