**_Impact Drill & Blast_**_ offers integrated drill and blast services, offering full Rock on Ground capabilities covering every stage of the project from survey, blast design, markout, drilling and bulk explosives supply to firing of blasts. With over 30 years' experience, we service clients who work in the civil, mining and quarrying sectors._

We are rapidly growing in this industry, as part of this growth our **VIC **operation currently has multiple opportunities for career growth and upskilling, we are seeking a trade qualified **Drill Fitter**. This position is located at our **Sunshine West Workshop** and has multiple rewarding career pathways, your eagerness to learn, upskill and expand your knowledge will be fulfilled with this opportunity.

**Key responsibilities**

Reporting to the workshop supervisor you will be responsible for;
- Carrying out mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance of light vehicles, drilling equipment, and mobile equipment as per OEM guidelines
- Manage breakdowns of equipment and vehicles to maximise operations productivity
- Ensure all equipment operates efficiently and safely.
- Travel to various quarries and sites to address breakdowns and provide on-site support as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work conducted.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operations.

**The successful applicant will have**:

- Diesel/Automotive/Mechanical trade qualification
- 2 years + experience in a repair and maintenance role
- Field service experience desirable but not essential
