Job Description:
As a Director of Payroll Data Analytics, you will lead the technical review of payroll remediation projects to ensure wage compliance and accurate entitlement calculations. Your deep expertise in payroll data analytics will be crucial in spearheading these projects.
Key responsibilities include overseeing remediation projects, reviewing award/EBAs, managing leave accruals, progressing superannuation guarantee remediation, and enforcing undertakings.
Additionally, you will lead specific FBT-focused engagements by building various data models to determine applicable FBT amounts.
Maintaining relationships with regulatory bodies such as the Australian Taxation Office and Fair Work Ombudsman is also essential.
Guiding the team in coding, particularly in Alteryx, SQL, R, RPA, and data visualisation tools for FBT functions is another critical aspect.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
At least 9 years of experience in payroll data analytics.
Proven experience leading large, data-heavy engagements.
Strong technical skills in Alteryx, SQL, R, RPA tools, and data visualisation.
Demonstrated leadership within a Big Four accounting firm or equivalent.
Excellent client communication and business development skills.
