**About the business and the role**

Binna Burra is an authentic heritage listed lodge offering a genuine Australian experience in nature. The lodge has been welcoming guests since the early 1930's and still retains its original charm and character.

Positioned 800 metres above sea-level admist the sub-tropical Rainforest of Lamington National Park in the Gold Coast HInterlands, Binna Burra is centre stage to some of Australia's most spectacular natural features.

**Job tasks and responsibilities**

This position is suited to a hands-on individual, with strong organisational and communication skills and previous experience in restaurants and/or cafes.

You will be required to provided the highest standard of quality and attention to detail through all phases of service to ensure an impeccable dining experience for every guest.

You will be required to posses the following attributes:

- The ability to quickly master all aspects of the food, wine and bar menus to guide each guest through their own unique dining experience based on individual taste preferences.
- Maintain poise and focus under pressure allowing for an efficient, error-free job.
- Posses strong interpersonal skills resulting in outstanding communication, team
- work, flexibility, and cohesiveness with fellow co-workers.

**Skills and experience**

This is a multi-skilled, multi-outlet position and applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability to:

- Restaurant and Cafe experience essential.
- Provide excellent Customer Service skills.
- Have an eye for detail.
- Work hands-on in a team environment.
- Be reliable and work a flexible rotating roster which will include evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- Understand kitchen hygiene and health standards.
- Hold a current RSA certificate.

Binna Burra Lodge is located in the beautiful Gold Coast Hinterlands, this is a 35-minute drive from Nerang, 60 minutes from Surfers Paradise and 90 minutes from Brisbane.
