Mt Barker Carpet Court is part of the Carpetology group of family run Carpet Court stores in Adelaide. With branches in Dulwich, Mt Barker and Noarlunga.

**About the business**

We are a small customer focused company with an extensive range of the latest technology in flooring and window furnishes. Our modern showrooms display our latest products and designs with an emphasis on home improvement and interior design.

We are looking for a enthusiastic and motivated retail assistant who will also lend a hand in the warehouse.

Under the Carpet Court brand you will have access to all the latest training and support to help you be a back up to the main sales staff in the showroom.

This position would be ideal for a Tertiary Student or individual seeking a role with flexibility. The position would move to a permanent sales role for the right person.

**Job tasks and responsibilities**

The role is a supportive role to assist with the running of the store and covers a range of tasks. You will need to be available to work Saturdays and assist at our Dulwich store when required. Tasks include:

- In-store customer service;
- Answering Phones;
- Filing;
- Making appointments for sales staff;
- Taking payments;
- Setup showroom displays/campaigns and maintaining clean areas;
- Cleaning the back end of the store/warehouse;
- Assisting in basic warehouse duties such as moving excess stock to showroom for sale, putting up new rugs, clearing out old samples, cleaning rubbish;
- Keeping the carpark and front of shop clean;

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $25.38 - $36.72 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week
