Employee Communications Manager

**About the role**:
Newly created, this role is responsible for the development and execution of people communications that connect our people to our purpose at every step of their journey

**What you'll do**:
Develop and deliver communication campaigns and programs to support Metcash priorities, purpose and brand

Use internal communications to bring our Employer Value Proposition to life

Design and deliver communications strategies and plans to support key people initiatives including values, diversity, equity and inclusion

Own the internal communications platform, providing direction, administration and oversight

Manage relevant internal communications channels

Build leader capability in communication and storytelling skills at all leadership levels

Plan, edit and write content for a variety of mediums and tools, ensuring a consistent narrative aligned with our values and purpose

Work closely with the Corporate Affairs team to ensure alignment of external communications that speak to the people experience

**What you'll bring**:
Knowledge of communications trends and best practices as well as communication channels and tools

Degree qualification in Communications, Marketing, English or similar is highly desirable

Problem solving, research and creativity skills to develop innovative, results-driven solutions

**Experience in the following**:
Developing and implementing communication strategies to an internal audience in a large/complex organisation

Using communication to engage and tell a compelling story

Developing content that will inspire, motivate and increase engagement

Project and change management relating to the delivery of internal communications projects and campaigns.
