Join to apply for the Demand Planner role at dormakaba Australia & New ZealandTHIS OPENS THE DOOR TO YOUR FUTURE: OUR OPPORTUNITYReporting to the Demand Planning & S&OP Manager the primary focus of this role is to manage and coordinate the existing Demand Planning processes and procedures; working closely and building relationships with our dedicated sales and operations planning teams to ensure our customer focused targets are delivered.ResponsibilitiesWorking from our Head Office in Hallam, you will have ownership of the demand forecast which supports the wider Supply Chain function, enabling us to meet market demands.
Key responsibilities will include:Lead, prepare and present the monthly cycle of Wk 1 Pre Demand and Wk 2 Demand Reviews – including collation and communication of associated minutes/actionsOwnership of the baseline and project demand forecast which supports the wider Supply Chain function to meet market demandReview and refine forecast models considering input from Sales, Marketing, Product Managers, customers and historical sales trendsReview trends in forecast accuracy / forecast bias with a goal of progressive continuous improvement of gaps between forecast and salesIn relation to changes in demand trends, proactively communicate to the supply team any changes/risks that could affect customer serviceability and/or costWork closely with Sales and Product Managers and act as a key support to ensure Product Life Cycle and Product Status is maintained for all SKU'sCollaboration with Sales and Product Management on new product launches, deletions, range review, etc. to ensure success in the market and to minimize write-off exposure and clearanceTake ownership and drive successful outcomes of individual objectives and development plansYour SkillsYou will be a highly organized individual who copes well in agile circumstances, with strong listening skills as well as being comfortable with data presentation.
You will be confident when dealing with challenging situations and a pro-active problem solver.
With over 2,500 SKU's to manage, this role will suit a detail orientated person with strong forecasting/demand planning abilities.Key skills and experiences that will see you succeed in this fast paced, constantly changing landscape are:Minimum 2-3+ years of demand planning experience.Excellent organizational skills, a willingness & ability to challenge assumptions and high attention to detailEffective listening in challenging, dynamic environments and ability to work effectively under pressureExcellent presentation skills (both preparation and delivery)Strong interpersonal and relationship building skillsProactive problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong numeracy and analytical capabilityExperience in SAP would be advantageous (SAP IBP experience highly valued)Bachelor's Degree in a business or analytical discipline preferredAdvanced skills in Excel are highly desirableA pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening will be required.What you can trust in: A fulfilling workplaceJoin an Industry Leader on a Global landscape.
