We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Commis Chef to join a large talented team of chefs in the main production kitchen, and deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.This could be just the right role for you?
As a Commis Chef you will be responsible for assisting with the effective daily kitchen operation, whilst developing your cookery skills and creativity.
Your key responsibilities for the role include:Produce a consistent high quality product and standardMaintain equipment, utensils and a clean hygienic kitchenRotate stock and minimise wastageFollow directions from senior chefs and work as a team playerFollow WHS, policies and proceduresWhat you'll need to be successfulFull availability and flexibility to work a 7 day rotating roster including evenings, weekends & public holidaysCompleted a Certificate 3 in Cookery qualification, essentialSkilled & developed knife skills & cookery techniquesGenuine passion for food and cooking, positive attitude, strong work ethic and a willingness to learnThrive in a large, busy & fast paced professional kitchen environment, with efficiency, organisation and attention to detailClear communication skills, can follow direction and work well in a team environmentExcellent personal presentationWe are OfferingPermanent Full-time 38 hours weekCompetitive industry benchmarked salary + penalties evenings, weekends & public holidaysGenerous employee benefits and discounts on RACV products & 10 resortsEmployee of the month awards & recognition + healthy team cultureTraining, development and career progression opportunitiesLaundered uniformComplimentary parking onsiteThe RACV differenceBe part of a team who cares.
