Your new role

We are seeking an energetic and highly experienced P&C Superintendent who will manage all IR and ER requirements for the project. Working a 5/2/4/3 roster with Paid FIFO from Rockhampton or Townsville your duties will include but are not limited to;
- Effectively action site HR/IR/ER matters including employee performance management issues, grievances and disciplinary requirements in conjunction with Site Operations Manager and Head Office P&C Team
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and assist with the development and implementation of agreed solutions ensuring relevant stakeholders are consulted
- Provide exceptional customer service across all parts of the business
- Maintain confidentiality in relation to clients, customers and
Workers.

What you'll need to succeed
- Solid IR / ER experience, with the ability to perform investigations and effectively manage disciplinary issues
- Proven ability to provide effective leadership and gain the trust of others
- Exceptional people skills, with the skills and experience to manage through difficult situations and provide positive solutions to the business
- Conflict resolution and team building skills with the ability to effectively delegate tasks to meet business needs
- Positive approach to change, with a focus on continuous improvement and the ability to implement change that will streamline processes
- Collaborative approach to working with management on site, as well as building strong relationships with offsite departments, and keeping them informed.
- Prior experience in similar position on a Coal Mine site highly desirable.
