Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is currently recruiting for a Superintendent to join the Wood team based in our Brisbane or Melbourne office on a contract basis.

This will be a desk top position to support the operations of a project starting potentially next week.

You will be responsible for the safe and effective delivery of work, leading a diverse workforce providing support and structure to achieve a reliable plant and the required business outcomes.

**Responsibilities**
- Deliver best practice maintenance & asset availability for the client
- Promote positive changes in organisational culture across the site
- Actively participate in the development and update of site based operating plans and processes
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and cost effectiveness
- Supporting and supervising tasks delegated to direct reports/respective team in the execution and delivery of contracted activities
- Providing service delivery support to the business

Skills / Qualifications:

- Relevant construction building and civils background
- Recognised and accredited management qualification
- Demonstrable balance of industrial and management experience at relevant level and position
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory framework and legislation
- Proficiency in scope definition
- Certified under the QBCC
- Experience with AS2124 contracts
- Professional demeanour, strong interpersonal skills
- Flexible with can-do attitude
