We are looking for a motivated, high performing individual to lead our Delivery and New Programs team.

**Key duties of this role include**:

- Provide high level advice to internal and external stakeholders regarding the development, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, governance and administration of strategies, approaches and processes for delivering on the Department's NRM Funding Programs as well as other third parties delivering natural resource outcomes.
- Provide leadership and direction to deliver quality, timely and innovative program design, administration and other strategic advice and project services to support grants administration and legislative compliance
- Prepare strategic policy documents (submissions, reports, papers, statements, briefings and correspondence) on issues and risks in relation to Resources' NRM funding programs to inform Ministerial and senior executive decision-making.
- Build and manage positive working relationships with colleagues, other levels of government including state and federal, industry and non-government organisations to achieve program outcomes and deliver on government commitments.
- Coordinate and manage (including reporting and governance processes) for key Committees and bodies associated with Grants funding administered through Natural Resource Operations
- Ensure appropriate governance over financial acquittal of projects, drafting of project agreements and contracts, and the completion of all milestones in relation to projects.
- Ensure a culture of service delivery and high performance that recognises the unique contribution of individuals, encourages personal and team development, and encourages an appropriate work/life balance.
- Manage, mentor, coach and train staff in their development to ensure the necessary skills and motivation exist to respond to service delivery requirements and performance to a high level of skill and expertise.
- Other duties as directed and required.

You and your team will engage with a range of internal and external stakeholders and provide high level advice to ensure the delivery and governance of program funding to Natural Resource Management Organisations across the State
