Architecture Practice Lead

We collaborate because the greatest achievements are made together, and we continuously create because some of the best innovations have yet to be imagined.We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Architecture Practice Lead to join our team to oversee the development and implementation of architectural frameworks and best practices across the organization.As the successful candidate you will be responsible for leading the architecture practice, driving the design and implementation of innovative digital solutions, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
You will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of modern architecture design, cloud solutions, and stakeholder engagement.Your role will include the following key responsibilities:Solution Design: Architect and design key components of digital solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including C-level executives, to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the architecture team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.Industry Expertise: Leverage experience across multiple industries to drive the adoption of best practices and emerging technologies.Problem-Solving: Quickly identify and address technical challenges, adapting to changes in scope, funding, or technology direction.Vendor Management: Evaluate and select vendors, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.You will bring the following key skills to the role:Leadership: Proven track record of leading and mentoring technical teams.Modern Architecture Design: Expertise in event-driven, API, and microservice-based architectures on various cloud platforms.Technical Expertise: Strong technical background with the ability to deep dive into code and create proof of concepts.Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly pick up new problems and devise effective solutions.To be considered for this role you will have:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.10+ years of experience in solution architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Experience with DevOps practices and tools.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.What we can offer you:Novated leasing benefits and discounts12 weeks paid parental leave and access to our Parents PortalComprehensive learning and development opportunities to support your career growthSonder digital wellbeing platform, providing personalised support 24/7, plus annual flu vaccinationsDefault Income Protection Insurance reimbursed for members of the MMS Default Super FundExempt Employee Share PlanEmbracing our value of Everyone Matters we hold a collective commitment to foster an environment where all differences are valued and respected.
