Promising a long-term and fulfilling future, join our esteemed Open Pit Maintenance Warehouse team on the convenience of an 8:6, 12-hour days & nights residential family-friendly roster.Here's what awaits you:Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and stock levelsInvestigate inventory discrepancies and document stock transfers and returnsIssue, return, and data enter stock in the Inventory Management SystemConduct regular stocktakes and adjust stock levels as neededAccept deliveries and manage inbound/outbound freightEnsure safe and efficient storage of all inventoryPerform area inspections to ensure safe operationsSupport continuous improvement initiativesEstablish min/max stock levels for efficient inventory controlRaise and receipt purchase orders in line with policyTo thrive in this role, you'll need:Desired Experience & Competencies:Previous stores/ inventory management experience within a mining or heavy industrial environmentAustralian Manuel Drivers licenceCurrent forklift ticketStrong computer skillsAbility to interpret maintenance parts as well as knowledge of other mine site consumables will be well regardedMinimum 3 years' experience in similar rolePassion for Growth:Be part of the next exciting growth stage of Northern Star.
