We are recruiting for a brand new opportunity for an Accounts Payable officer in Sydney's CBD. This business is an extremely well recognised and respected brand, employing 600 + people and have tripled in size due to its aggressive growth and repeat business.

They are a genuine leader and innovator within their field and offer a very appealing opportunity for an accounts payable officer wanting to step into an evolving accounts payable team.

Attitude and communication are key to this position as you will be dealing with stakeholders and people at levels, good customer service skills and a positive attitude are essential attributes for you to be successful in this role

**The Role**:
The duties for this role include:

- Processing of invoices with a high level of accuracy
- Experience of using SAP
- Support vendors with queries around workflow system and be an advocate a culture of change and moving to onboard new vendors.
- Timely and effective resolution of queries as received by Accounts Payable from both internal and external parties
- Work to Accounts Payable performance metrics - payments on time, Invoice life cycle processing times and reduction of invoice errors.
- Create and amend Vendors in line with process and policy
- Processing of weekly payment runs
- Work with the Accounts Payable Team to escalate issues and resolve queries
- Review and approval of staff credit card and cash reimbursement claims
- Complete administration tasks in expense management system when required
