**Position Title**:Support Worker - Marsden Park, NSW, 2765**

**Requirement**: must have fully-insured vehicle

**Hours**: Approximately 38 hours per week, primarily after 3:00 PM (divided into 3 workers)

**Job Type**: Casual, with flexible scheduling and shift swaps as needed

**Compensation**:

- Base pay starting from $30.61 per hour (SCHADS Award Level 1, Pay Point 1), including applicable penalty rates for evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Additional 25¢ per kilometer for vehicle use

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- **Domestic Assistance**: Provide household cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
- **Mentoring and Community Engagement**: Facilitate daily activities, appointments, events, and outings to promote social inclusion and mentorship, especially aligning with the client's Protestant Christian faith.
- **Support for Mental Health**: Bring experience in supporting clients with mental health challenges compassionately.
- **Assistance for Physical and Challenging Needs**: Demonstrate expertise in assisting clients with physical needs, enhancing their quality of life.
- **Monitoring and Documentation**: Maintain detailed records to facilitate personalized care.
- **Client Engagement**: Develop meaningful relationships to understand and enhance clients' quality of life.
- **Progress Monitoring**: Regularly document and report clients' progress, contributing to continuous improvement.

**Mandatory Checks and Certifications**:

- National Police Check
- Working with Children Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- First Aid/CPR Certification
- Diploma in Disability, Mental Health, Community Services, or equivalent
- National ID
- Fully insured vehicle
