Job Opportunity: Laundry Services Supervisor

If so, we invite you to join Anglicare as our Laundry Services Supervisor and make a meaningful impact on our services.

About the Role

As the Laundry Services Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of Anglicare's Laundry Services. You'll lead a team of dedicated staff, overseeing daily operations, coordinating schedules, and ensuring that all laundry (including linen and personal clothing) is cleaned, folded, and delivered to the highest standard. Your leadership will ensure that production and distribution deadlines are met, while promoting a culture of safety and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate laundry staff and daily work schedules for efficient operations.
- Oversee production processes, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and order preparation.
- Maintain high-quality standards for laundry cleaning and delivery.
- Promote and ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) practices.
- Assist in recruiting and training new staff to build a strong, capable team.
- Lead by example, fostering a positive and respectful work environment aligned with Anglicare's Christian values.

What We're Looking For
- Proven leadership experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or production environment.
- Strong knowledge and experience in laundry operations.
- Supervisory qualifications (preferred).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality assurance.
