As we continue to expand, we're looking for a Financial Controller to strengthen our finance function and help drive operational excellence across the business.Join us to lead with financial discipline, build scalable systems, and support our global growth journeyThe incredible opportunityBased at our Adelaide HQ, you'll manage the day-to-day financial operations across the Myriota Group, ensuring accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and robust internal controls.
Reporting to the VP of Finance, you'll also provide insights that guide key decisions and support expansion into international markets.This is a great opportunity for a proactive finance leader who thrives in a dynamic, scale-up environment.How you will drive successFinancial Management & ReportingPrepare monthly management accounts with variance analysis and performance insightsConsolidate the Myriota Group including foreign subsidiariesLead annual audits and statutory reportingMaintain and improve accounting policies and internal controlsCash & Treasury ManagementOversee AP/AR and banking relationshipsManage cash flow and group treasury operationsTaxation & ComplianceResponsible for the lodgment of annual income tax returnsOversee BAS lodgmentsManage R&D Tax Incentive processes (including Advance Overseas Findings)Payroll ManagementManage global payroll (AU, UK, US, Canada, Switzerland)Handle quarterly commission calculationsSupport payroll setup for new international entitiesRisk & InsuranceMaintain and renew group insurance policiesInvestor SupportRespond to investor information requests and financial queriesWhat we value in youProfessional accounting qualification (CA or CPA)Strong experience in financial control and complianceProven ability to manage full-spectrum finance operationsExposure to audits and experience working with external advisorsAdvanced Excel skills; confident with G-Suite and XeroDetail-oriented, proactive, and commercially savvyStrong communicator who collaborates across teamsWhy Myriota stands outPurpose That MattersAt Myriota, we\'re driven by a bold vision: a world made better through a pervasive Internet of Things.
