**What You'll Do**
- ** Comprehensive Assessments**:Conduct thorough assessments of children, young people, and families to identify strengths, needs, and risks.
- ** Individualized Care Planning**:Develop and implement tailored care plans in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
- ** Crisis Intervention**:Provide timely support during crises to ensure safety and stability.
- ** Advocacy**:Advocate for clients to access necessary resources and services.
- ** Skill Development**:Facilitate evidence-based parenting programs and workshops**.**:
- ** Collaboration**:Work closely with internal teams and external agencies to coordinate care.
- ** Documentation**:Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with organizational standards.
- ** Cultural Sensitivity**:Ensure services are culturally safe and inclusive, respecting the diverse backgrounds of clients.
**What You'll Need**
- ** Relevant Qualifications**:Degree in social work, psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- ** Experience**:Demonstrated experience in child protection, family support, or community services.
- ** Knowledge**:Understanding of child protection legislation and out-of-home care frameworks.
- ** Skills**:Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- ** Cultural Competence**:Ability to work effectively with diverse communities, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
**Essential**:
- Possess a National Police Check, Working with Children (Blue Card), Licensed Care Service (Child Protection) or the ability to acquire.
