Our Financial Services client works within a primarily outsourced environment and are looking for a Security Operations Specialist to support and govern the security operations and identity and access management services within the organisations outsourced I.T. support operating environment.

As a Security Operations Specialist, you'll contribute to a mature information security environment, collaborating closely with support partners to rectify security vulnerabilities. Your role involves elevating security posture through strategic implementations in line with best practices and established frameworks. Furthermore, you'll ensure the integrity of the organisations cloud environments and actively participate in cybersecurity initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborating with support partners to rectify security vulnerabilities
- Enhancing the organisations security posture with industry best practices
- Safeguarding MS Azure/365 and private cloud configurations
- Assisting in delivering cybersecurity initiatives
- Managing and delivering Cybersecurity Awareness Program
- Ensuring impeccable I.T. security service delivery
- Steering new initiatives as a technical security lead
- Navigating Identity and Access Management (IAM) intricacies

**About You**
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant prior experience
- Extensive track record in relevant roles with demonstrated results
- Comprehensive grasp of information security and identity management
- Profound technical proficiency in Microsoft Azure and M365
- Adept at troubleshooting security issues leveraging Azure Sentinel, Powershell, KQL, and Defender
- Vendor management prowess, ensuring outcomes are achieved
