We are a multi-disciplined contractor with the in-house resources and the capabilities to deliver all aspects of our projects.We own and operate a large fleet of plant and equipment and employ a large, diverse workforce that has extensive experience delivering large and complex utilities and civil infrastructure projects.Ferrycarrig has made a significant contribution to some of Sydney's largest and most significant infrastructure projects delivered in recent years, including Sydney Light Rail, Parramatta Light Rail, Sydney Metro, Western Sydney Airport, and the New Sydney Fish Markets.What You Will Be DoingManagement and ownership of the commercial and contractual requirements through the life cycle of the project.Evaluate and negotiate contractual claims with sub-contractors and assist project managers in the procurement of contracts; andSuccessfully coordinate efficient delivery in the management of contract documentation.Responsibility for interface Client Commercial/Contract Team.Project Procurement including Sub-contractors.Conduct cost and risk analysis.Review all incoming correspondence from Employers, Design Team and /or subcontractors, to identify contractually critical items and to initiate replies.Manage commercial aspects of subcontractors.Provide project costing, margin & cashflow reports.Manage project change order procedures and agree costs with clientIs this job for meBe degree qualified in Quantity Surveying/hold relevant tertiary qualifications or have the necessary on the job experience7+ years experience working as a Quantity SurveyorExperience working on civil or infrastructure projects is desirable but not essentialHave demonstrated experience in all aspects of quantity surveyingHigh attention to detail, information process and problem-solving capabilityExcellent communication skills both written and verbalHigh levels of motivation and excellent time management and organisational skillsIn return from FerrycarrigExcellent salary package on offerMobile Phone and Laptop20 days annual leave plus bank holidaysGet involved with large civil infrastructure projects in the Greater Sydney areaProfessional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledgeOur Core Values:At Ferrycarrig, we take our core values to heart.
