Job Overview
We currently have a permanent position available for a highly motivated professional to join our team as an Account Manager within the NSW Customer Service department, primarily servicing the Hunter Valley. This role w il l b e r e s p o n s i b l e f o r b uil d i n g a n d f o s t e r i n g hi gh l y i n f l u e n t i a l r e la t io n s h i p s within Komatsu's r e g i o n a l c u s t o m e r b a s e.
Key Job Responsibilities
Maintaining a strong knowledge of Komatsu products, parts and service capabilities;
Demonstrating integrity in all aspects of business, especially when dealing with Komatsu proprietary information, customer information and contract negotiations;
Facilitating cross organisational teamwork to effectively meet Komatsu sales targets;
Developing positive contacts with appropriate personnel to ensure collaborative and constructive relationships are built between customer and vendor to support sales and service goals and initiatives;
Proactively seek and manage information from the customer that will aid in technical improvements of the Komatsu products;
Actively seek and secure profitable revenue channels through aftermarket products and services;
Actively solicit parts, manufacturing, service, predictive diagnostics and repair work to allow maximum utilisation of Komatsu facilities and capabilities;
Qualifications/Requirements
Qualification in sales or business-related discipline
Trade or engineering qualification highly desirable
Previous account management and business development experience
Problem solving, negotiation, system trouble shooting and dispute resolution skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including negotiation and influencing
Assertive, enthusiastic confident "can do" attitude
Computer skills and competent with MS Office
SAP and Salesforce experience desirable.

A high level of business acumen combined with the ability to present compelling information in both written and verbal forms is essential in this position.
