The SES Knowledge Review Project team is responsible for managing the review, update, consultation and publishing of approximately 200 documents within the SES Knowledge Base comprising of Procedures, Policies, Directives, Forms and other pieces of information used by SES Members and Staff alike.

There are two roles available. The Project Officer - Knowledge Review will focus on the operational doctrine - that is the doctrine which describes what the SES does in the field, and will involve consultation with stakeholders on the change impact. The second role is the Project Officer - Copywriter which is more focussed around standard procedure and policy, terminology and template update "administrative" changes requiring less stakeholder consultation.

**Purpose of the role**:
Reporting to the Executive Manager, the Knowledge Review Project Officer will work across all categories of documents with a focus on the Operational Doctrine as well as engaging in consultation with volunteers and stakeholder groups to successfully progress the documents through the process from review to publish.

The role will be hands on, so experience with copy-writing, document editing and/or policy writing would be highly desired. You will also be required to assist in the administration of the shared inbox, SharePoint other tracking systems/products used for the project.

**Key accountabilities for these roles**:
Your part in the ongoing success of the project, in supporting frontline services will see you responsible for a variety of work, including, but not limited to:

- Provide high level administrative and project support, including maintaining document management systems, filling and tracking of project registers, including ad-hoc reporting.
- Provide high level copywriting skills, simplifying complex legacy documentation, selecting the relevant and important detail for the new document set
- Participating in the consultation and engagement process, issuing consultation requests, receiving and collating feedback and facilitating the ongoing integration of the feedback into the final product
- Administrate and manage content of project information on media portals, SharePoint and websites including user support and help desk services as required.
- Develop and maintain working relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders in relation to various project deliverables and initiatives.
