From our location in Yatala, our in-house bakery supplies our 26 lunch vans across Brisbane and surrounds with fresh and delicious pies, sausage rolls, cakes and slices on a daily basis.

As an experienced, bakery professional or a passionate home baker, join our Bakery team. Experienced or not, if you have the drive and passion, we have the opportunity for you.

- Shift length **6-8 hours**:

- **Monday to Friday**shifts from 4.00am - 1.00 pm

**Role tasks and opportunities**
- Preparation and weighing of **ingredients**:

- Weighing, mixing, making and _**sheeting pastry**_
- Oven work and **baking**:

- **Sauce preparation** for pies
- Pie and cake assembly including **basic slab cake decorating**:

- Cooking a **variety of meats** for products
- Practicing **cleanliness and hygiene** at all times
- Experienced professionals looking for change or the opportunity to love coming to work, here it is

**Interested?...**

If you have **experience**in a **bakery** role, great However, this is not essential as full training is provided
- Knowledge of baking, cooking and food is good, having PASSION for it is essential
- **You have a CAN DO, hardworking** attitude
- **You take pride in your reliability, punctuality**and **strong work ethic**:

- You thrive in a **fast-paced** environment, work **unsupervised**and love being a valued, contributing member of a supportive team
- Work in a high temperature environment with commercial stoves and ovens
- The physical nature of the role **requires bending, lifting up to 25kg, twisting, stretching and reaching forward** on a frequent basis, with repetitive tasks also requiring the ability to stand in the one place for extended periods of time
