**Spray Painter Tradesperson (Heavy Vehicle/Automotive)**

Custom Quip Engineering (CQE) is a trusted West Australian family-owned business specialising in the design & manufacture of quality transport equipment and associated services.

**Job Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Spray painting of a range of transport equipment - newly manufactured, repaired and refurbished using 2 pack paint products. *Paint finish required to be of high standard.
- Preparation of primed surfaces i.e. sanding and sealing etc., to ensure a flat, high gloss finish.
- Touch-up's of paint work where required.
- Along with other team members carry out scheduled ongoing maintenance of spray and blast booths to ensure safe condition and correct functionality.
- Where required and trained, assist with operation of the sandblast booth (Garnet and Steel Grit).

**Skills and Experience Required**
- Trade qualification in automotive spray painting (or likeable trade) and/or proven experience undertaking trade duties consistent with above 'Job Tasks and Responsibilities'.
- Experience painting large equipment (transport, mining, agriculture) to a high standard ensuring a flat gloss finish.
- Team orientated person.
- Motivated & team orientated attitude.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision, where required.
- Out of the box thinker with the ability to diagnose faults/errors and provide or seek solutions.
- Contribute to a healthy, safe and "can do" work environment.

**Salary**: $48.00 - $52.00 per hour

Expected hours: 51.5 - 57.5 per week
