About the role :
The FFT-CW Family Therapist provides family therapy using the FFT-CW model to client families referred by DCJ due to child protection risks and the potential for OOHC placement.
The role's primary objective is to hold and reduce risk within the family home.
This is a part-time, 19-hour per week fixed-term contract until March 31, 2026, based in Queanbeyan NSW within our Children, Youth and Families Program.
The position reports to the Family Therapist Supervisor.
Key Selection Criteria :
To be successful, you will have :
A Bachelor's qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Aboriginal Health Worker, Community Welfare Worker, or a Master of Counselling.
Postgraduate training in child, adolescent, and family clinical practice, family therapy, and systemic thinking (strongly preferred).
Clinical experience working with families and adolescents (strongly preferred).

You must have :
A valid and current Driver's Licence.
Satisfactory Criminal History Check (paid for by MacKillop).
A valid Employee Working with Children Check.
A valid and current NDIS Worker Screening Check (for risk-assessed/client-facing roles).
