Chandler Macleod are seeking an enthusiastic, professional Medical Receptionist to join the team of a local General Practice on a permanent part time basis.

**About the company**:
Located in Lake Macquarie, our client is a busy General Medical Practice with three practitioners, a practice manager and two receptionists. With approximately 70 patients coming through the doors each day, they are seeing significant growth and are looking for a third medical receptionist to join the team.

**About the role**:
Reporting to the Practice Manager, the Medical Receptionists provide a high standard of customer service and administration to patients and doctors.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Greeting patients on arrival
- Answering telephones and booking appointments
- Patient billing and processing payments
- Managing confidential patient records
- Preparing patient files, scanning and electronic filing of patient correspondence

**About you**:
As well as being an empathetic professional, you will be someone who works well in a team environment and is able to multitask efficiently.

**Ideally you will have**:

- Medical receptionist experience
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Best Practice software experience
- An understanding of item numbers, medical charges, and immunisation's is beneficial
- A friendly, personable demeanour
