Australia Sun Engineering Full time

Sun Engineering is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join our team. Reporting to the CFO, this position is based at our Carole Park Head Office, however some flexibility regarding working days, hours and work location may be able to be provided to this specific role by discussion and agreement.

The salary will reflect the exact nature of the position offered and will of course reflect the experience and capability the respective individual can bring to the company.

The position will commence immediately - we can't wait for you to join our team

**The successful applicant will be able to perform most, if not all, of the following duties**:

- Processing the weekly and fortnightly end to end payroll process for employees based in Australia, PNG and Fiji
- Ensuring due diligence and compliance with relevant legislation, EBAs and payroll-related processes and procedures
- Actioning payroll changes and system upgrades in the system
- Weekly, monthly and annual reporting as required (GL, Tax, variance reports, reconciliations)
- Providing a high level of customer service to all employees and stakeholders
- Ensuring the integrity of payroll data in our timesheet and accounting systems
- Maintaining up to date knowledge of payroll-related legislation
- Ad hoc tasks and projects, as required.

**The successful applicant will have most, if not all, of the following skills and attributes**:

- Demonstrated experience in a Payroll Manager position
- Ability to interpret EBAs and legislation
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with the Greentree accounting system (highly desirable)
- Experience processing end to end payroll in different industries and environments
- Problem solving and inquisitive mind
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills

**What we are offering**:

- Salary range on offer is between $70,000 to $90,000 + Super (depends on applicant)
- Some flexibility to working arrangements can be made by agreement
