This role will be responsible for delivery of the Core Banking program for ING Australia. This role will play a leading role in shaping the future of banking for ING Australia and will involve modernising and transforming ING's current core banking system to build the bank of the future.

This role has the end to end execution accountability for ING Australia's largest transformation program.

**Your program responsibilities**:

- Shape the execution of the Core Banking program including mobilisation, recruiting key resources and engaging vendors to deliver the program
- Facilitate collaboration across all relevant stakeholders across ING (Business, Technology, Operations, Finance, Risk) to ensure program delivers to agreed objectives, business case, meets project success criteria and quality standards
- Effectively manage project scope, schedule, budget, deliverable quality, workforce planning, procurement, stakeholders, integration and risks/issues
- Provide accurate and timely communication of program status, risks and issues to stakeholders, escalating appropriately
- Ensure development and implementation of change management plans to galvanise stakeholder support
- Establish Core Banking program governance and committee structure and facilitate steering committee meetings with a focus on decisions required
- Prepare and provide regular updates on status of program to ING Board Committees, Executive teams and global stakeholders
- Lead and co-ordinate across other Tribes and Technology Leads to ensure a coordinated delivery of outcomes by managing program interdependencies, constraints, and resource allocations
- Effectively builds relationships with cross-functional team members, sponsors, key stakeholders, executives, and other individuals or organisations
- Communicate effectively with executive customer stakeholders and deliver on both strategic and tactical program initiatives. Strong judgement and a demonstrated ability to influence.
- Interact with vendor executives on strategic planning, terms negotiations, overall relationship management, monitoring and ensuring work is performed to required standards, timeframes and completeness
- Ensures commercial risk management is actively practiced in the delivery of projects
- Leads in in-flight and end of project reviews, making recommendations for actions, and capturing and sharing learning in appropriate forums as well as following up on implementation improvements
