**Your role**
The Project Officer with the Kids Early Years Network (KEYS) although employed by Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) provides project support to all KEYS partnered agencies. KEYS is an initiative which has been developed by the Service Delivery Reform Group in Western Sydney. This program seeks to provide a more comprehensive and systemic approach to service provision and coordination for vulnerable families (with children under 5) in the area. It aims to remove organisational barriers and deliver care that is value based and person-centred. The primary purpose of this KEYS is to assist in empowering the existing system to deliver integrated and wrap around services to vulnerable families in Western Sydney and Nepean Blue Mountains.
The project officer will provide crucial high-level support to the team in the Western Sydney Nepean Blue Mountains District with responsibility ensuring accurate development and documentation of agreed workflows, oversight of administrative functions of KEYS and ongoing support to the administrative team. The project officer will also hold a key role in the development and roll out of the new data management system currently being developed in collaboration with our KEYS agency partners.
KEYS works as part of the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) Parramatta Client Service Centre to provide high level project support services. This includes managing and preparing communications and implementing strategies in line with the DCJ responsibilities to improve service delivery outcomes for families, groups and communities across NSW.
**What you'll do**
With guidance from the KEYS Navigator Manager and as part of the project team, you will:
- Support the KEYS Navigation staff and Managers to meet the KEYS objectives having oversight for daily procedures and processes including, referrals, system navigation, data management and day to day team priorities.
- Supervise Oversight the provision of administrative and clerical support and services to KEYS staff in an efficient and effective manner to enable provision of client focused quality service delivery.
- Implement effective, efficient administrative systems, including regular review, that integrate and comply with KEYS systems, policies and procedures and enable consistent high quality service delivery across KEYS.
- Manage corporate data systems and records, ensuring accuracy and relevance of data and information recorded to ensure compliance with unit, Agency and legislative requirements.
- Provide relevant and accurate business data and information sought by the senior managers and other key stakeholders to inform current and future business decision-making.
- Provide a range of project management and support services, including preparation of reports and briefs, coordinating resources, maintaining project documentation and implementing and monitoring project plans, to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope, in line with established agency project management methodology
- Prepare and maintain project documentation for reporting, monitoring and evaluation purposes to ensure accessibility of quality information and contribute to the achievement of project outcomes
- Communicate with key stakeholders and coordinate working groups, committees and consultations to facilitate exchange of information and support project completion in line with project plans
- Source, collate and compile data and information to identify emerging issues and track and report on project progress against established milestones and deliverables
