Leave loading at 17.5%Stride Rewards - access to discounts from 100s of retailers (fashion, food and fitness)One paid wellbeing leave day per yearPurchase up to 5 additional leave days in a 12 month period (pro rata entitlement if part-time)Paid parental leave supportSupportive team environmentExcellent training and career developmentRole Overview:Responsible for delivering quality mental health nursing care at an advanced level that requires a broad knowledge in professional issues for clients who experience severe and persistent mental illness.Promote professional standards of practice and conduct and be responsible for the achievement of service goals and standards utilising contemporary mental health nursing evidence based interventions.Provide clinical interventions to ensure recovery focused and evidence-based care, plans and coordinate the clinical management of client care within a multidisciplinary teamRequirements:Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with a current annual practicing certificate (essential).
Current credentialing as a Mental Health Nurse through the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses (desirable)Extensive experience working in mental health settings and managing clients with severe and persistent mental health conditions and complex needs.Highly developed communication (including written) and interpersonal skills,The ability to engage people who are hard to reach and advocate on their behalfEstablish and maintain effective relationships with staff, clients, carers and stakeholders.Ability to use a desktop computer, with familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and capacity to learn how to use a new clinical software packageMust be eligible to apply/currently hold a Blue CardMust hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearanceCurrent Driver's License.Stride is committed to the safeguarding of children and vulnerable people.
