We are seeking a driven Risk & Analytics lead to join one of our clients for an exciting opportunity as a Modelling Excellence Lead.

The Modelling Excellence Lead is responsible for delivering business benefits through the uplift of model building and governance practices within our client.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Establish and lead the operations of the Modelling Centre of Excellence. Starting with a minimum viable product, progressively expand coverage and onboard teams as the Modelling Centre of Excellence matures.
- Mature and evolve the operating model, roles and responsibilities and performance metrics of the Modelling Centre of Excellence.
- Develop the documentation (policies, procedures, standards, training and reporting) associated with achieving a unified and universal approach to model development, deployment and governance. This includes managing and standardising the use of data, both input and output.
- Train teams on model development, deployment and governance practices.
- Co-ordinate and undertake peer review of code bases to ensure compliance with established practices.
- Secretariat for the Modelling Community meetings, responsible for organising meetings, arranging agendas, following up actions and supporting the Chair to run efficient meetings.

**Key Skills Required**:

- Demonstrated background in Object Orientated Programming. Python experience highly regarded.
- Proven knowledge in software development lifecycle, particularly testing and deployment. DevOps experience highly regarded.
- Ability to develop high quality written documentation, supporting defined software development patterns and governance requirements.
- Experience in deploying solutions with cloud platforms. Azure experience highly regarded.
- Demonstrated ability to keep informed and abreast of industry trends and movements.
