Within Western Australia our Mining & Resources Division delivers engineering and construction projects for our key Tier 1 iron ore producing clients, which enables them to sustain and expand their mining operations throughout the Pilbara Region of Western Australia. Calibre showcases commitment to minimising the impact of operations on the environment, by ensuring that environmental input is included in every phase of a project, from inception to closure.

**The Role**:
Working on a major mining project, you will be responsible for driving a compliant and positive environmental culture. You will contribute to the set up and rollout of environmental plans and procedures, working alongside a tenured project team and other environmental professionals. Your day to day will look like:

- Provide environmental guidance, diligence, and consistency to internal stakeholders
- Monitor and communicate changes to relevant legislation, regulations, and codes of practices
- Develop and review required environmental and sustainability reports and project documentation
- Validate data and maintain the Environmental databases
- Undertake investigations to improve environmental performance

We are looking for someone with exceptional attention to detail, who enjoys a flexible working environment and a supportive team surrounding them. Ideally you will come with some experience working in the Pilbara and surrounds with a knowledge of approvals and assessments of environmental aspects in a mining environment. We're also looking for:

- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science/Management or related discipline
- 5 years+ experience working in a similar position, preferably within a resources environment
- Experience using GIS Software
- Ambition and passion to protect the sustainability of the environment
- Working knowledge of current environmental legislation
