The role involves working in the nursery or toddler room supporting the educational program in collaboration with a team of educators, including completing documentation, planning the learning environment and being an active part of the learning through positive interactions with children. Establishing and maintaining respectful/trusting relationships with parents and families. It also includes actively supervising children, supporting children to meet their health and wellbeing needs, and maintaining a safe and hygienic environment

Successful applicants must:

- Hold a Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education
- Hold a current Working with Children Check Card
- Have a minimum of one year's experience as an educator
- Have sound knowledge and training in Mandatory Reporting and Child Protection
- Be dedicated to the needs of children
- Excellent communication skills
- Value ongoing learning and reflection
- Have a love for early childhood education
- Show initiative and be a strong team player

Pay: $35.50 - $37.95 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 8 per week

- Certificate I - IV (preferred)
