Job Opportunity:
GPU Modeling Engineer Role
We are seeking a skilled GPU modeling engineer to join our team and contribute to the design and verification of industry-leading simulation platforms used in GPU research and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on specifications, verification plans, and test plans.
Develop and maintain C/C++ models and supporting systems, leveraging strong software design and development skills.
Debug, test, analyze, and improve model functional and performance accuracy, using data-based decision making.
Identify and implement opportunities for improving our design and verification environment.
Requirements:
Proficient in C++ with strong software design and development skills.
Knowledge of GPU architecture or computer hardware is an advantage.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to understand requirements and expectations, and clarify when needed.
Effective at presenting results and status to peers and management.
Divides complex tasks into manageable parts and uses data-driven decision making.
Understands complex architectural concepts and their impact on system design.
Preferred Qualifications:
Software development experience using C or C++.
Proficiency in industry-standard profiling and debug tools.
Graphics API or graphics pipeline knowledge is desirable.
Experience with hardware design or verification is a plus.
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or shell.
Productivity tool expertise, including Jira and Jenkins.
Configuration Management skills, using Perforce or GIT.
