GPU Modeling Engineer

Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned C++ GPU modeling expert to spearhead the development and maintenance of advanced models and supporting systems.
Main Responsibilities
- Collaborate with architects, design engineers, and verification specialists on specifications, verification plans, and test strategies
- Develop, refine, and troubleshoot C/C++ models and associated infrastructure
- Analyze and improve model performance, accuracy, and reliability
- Identify opportunities for enhancing AMD's design and verification framework
Key Qualifications
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in software design and engineering with expertise in C++, accompanied by strong problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with GPU or other computer hardware and Graphics APIs is a significant advantage
- Bachelor or Master level degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Proficiency in software development using C or C++
- Experience with industry-standard profiling and debug tools
- Knowledge of Graphics API or graphics pipeline concepts
- Hardware design or verification expertise
- HDL implementation skills – Verilog or VHDL
- Scripting languages – Python, Perl, shell
- Productivity tools – Jira, Jenkins
- Configuration Management – Perforce, GIT
