**StyroMAX** is the leading provider of fibreglass composite panels in Australia. Due to continued growth, we have expanded our production capacity and now require a _**Production Trade Assistant**_ to oversee the _panel lamination_ section of the business.

**StyroMAX** currently operates a 4-day production week, working Monday to Thursday from 5 am until 3 pm, with Friday reserved for OT (if available) or required maintenance.

**StyroMAX** gives back to the local community and industry with structured work experience programs for high school students, school-based traineeships and apprenticeships, as well as mature age apprenticeships.

**Key Duties**
- Work with the team in the Panel Lamination Department to produce FRP panels according to the production schedule
- Work with production drawings to cut raw material
- Work with Quality Assurance guidelines to ensure the highest quality of product and work is being produced
- Liaise with team leader and other key stakeholders regarding the production process and schedule
- Participate and contribute to continuous improvement projects and ideas
- Participate and contribute to a LEAN manufacturing environment

**Experience and Skills**
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- An ability to communicate effectively with the team and other key stakeholders
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- An ability to perform risk assessments and problem solve
- Experience with jib and/or gantry crane
- Current QLD High-Risk License FL
- Interest in learning new skills, with cross-skilling in multiple areas of the business available
- Experience with fibreglass is beneficial but not essential

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $29.00 - $31.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

- Darra, QLD 4076: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
