**In-Home Educator Opportunity - Ocean Shores, NSW**

We are looking for a warm, grounded, and flexible in-home educator to support two children (7) and (4). Both children are deeply familiar with Steiner-inspired, play-based learning. They are creative, kind, funny, and strong-willed - once they feel safe, they open their hearts wide.

The family run a wellness-based events business offering sound healing trainings and retreats, which means their schedule varies week to week. During quieter weeks, they are looking for around 5 - 10 hours of support. During their busier seasons (3 times per year), this may increase to up to 20 hours per week, always with plenty of notice.

They are seeking someone nurturing and adaptable who can assist with school pick-ups (using the family car), hold strong and loving boundaries, and offer a calm, creative presence.

**Possible Typical Shifts (with advance notice)**:

- Weekdays: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM or 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM (e.g. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
- Weekends: 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM (Saturday and/or Sunday)
- Fortnightly Weekday: Thursday 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Regular Weekly Hours: 5 - 10 hours
- Peak Season Hours: Up to 20 hours per week

**Rate**:$38 - $40 per hour (depending on experience)

**You will Be Someone Who**:

- Has experience with young children, especially strong-willed and emotionally sensitive girls
- Brings creativity, warmth, and consistent, loving boundaries
- Is familiar with or aligned to attachment-informed and respectful parenting practices
- Is flexible, reliable, and confident managing dynamic family rhythms
- Can do school pick-ups (comfortable using our family vehicle)
- Resonates with holistic education and Steiner-style values

**Essential Requirements**:

- Certificate III in Children's Services (ACECQA approved)
- Current First Aid & CPR (childcare setting)
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Police Check (within 6 months)
- Public Liability Insurance (once placed)
- Medical Clearance
- Child Protection Training (refresher every 2 years)
- ABN (self-employed contractor)
- Photo ID
- PRODA RA (support available from the office)
- Valid driver's licence
- Must be over 18 years of age

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Weekend availability
