Key Responsibilties:Provide respectful personal care, including hygiene assistance, dressing and mobility supportAssist residents with daily living activities and mealsFoster independence, dignity, and individual choice for each residentMaintain accurate documentation in accordance with Aged Care Quality StandardsCommunicate effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teamsAs the successful candidate you will have the following requirements:Flexibility to work across shifts, including mornings, afternoons, nights and weekendsDemonstrated knowledge and experience in personal care ideally in an aged care settingExperience caring for people living with dementia.Certificate III or Certificate IV in Aged Care/Disability (or equivalent e.g. Individual Support)Ability to effectively communicate verbally and non-verbally with residents living with dementia and/or where English is a second language.Demonstrated ability to document concisely and effectively in resident progress notesAbility to work effectively and respectfully in a team environment.Knowledge of the Care Plan process and the relevant assessments required.Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach.If you are interested in this opportunity, please provide a copy of your resume and cover letter expressing what shifts suit your availability.Agencies should note that unsolicited resumes will not be accepted for this position.Unlock job insightsSalary match Number of applicants Skills match Sign In RegisterCompany profile2.7 · 20 reviews Community Services & DevelopmentWorking with Doutta Galla is not just about having a job to go to.
