The Endeavour Foundation is seeking a professional to design, deploy and maintain security solutions protecting information assets. This role supports the organisation's risk management and security strategies, ensuring systems and data integrity, confidentiality and availability.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement enterprise security solutions aligned with frameworks such as ISO 27001, Essential Eight and ASD ISM.
Design, document, implement and maintain procedures to mitigate threats and meet compliance requirements.
Identify and remediate vulnerabilities across cloud and on-premises environments.
Conduct security risk assessments for new and existing platforms, recommending improvements.
Respond to security incidents by detecting, containing, eradicating, recovering and conducting post-incident reviews.
Develop and maintain knowledge base articles, playbooks and security documentation.
Provide input on security requirements for vendor contracts, RFPs and SOWs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Tertiary qualifications in IT, Information Security or a related field.
Industry certifications such as CISSP, SSCP, CCSP, CEH and Microsoft Security Suite.
At least 3 years' experience in a cyber security engineering or related role.
Experience designing, implementing and reviewing enterprise security solutions.
Strong understanding of security frameworks including ISO 27001, Essential Eight and ASD ISM.
Skilled in assessing and managing cyber risks within enterprise environments.
Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, SOAR, NDR, EDR, XDR and Microsoft suite.
Ability to stay updated across emerging threats and recommend proactive solutions.
Experience conducting security risk assessments and third-party assessments.
Strong communication skills, able to deliver security awareness training.
