Senior Underwriter
We are seeking an experienced underwriter to join our team, with a focus on large and complex cases. As a key player in our organization, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our underwriting guidelines and strategies.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in life and disability reinsurance underwriting, with a proven ability to manage complex cases. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, providing training and support to clients, and conducting research to develop and refine underwriting guidelines and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and underwrite high-value and intricate life and disability reinsurance cases with care and precision.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded through collaborative and caring interactions.
Provide training and support to clients, enhancing their understanding of our underwriting processes and guidelines.
Conduct thorough research to develop and refine underwriting guidelines and best practices.
Requirements:
Extensive experience in life and disability reinsurance underwriting.
Proven ability to manage complex cases.
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Experience with Microsoft applications.
Strong analytical and research skills.
